2009 Award Nominations

Dear Fellow WSPHA members,

Now’s the time to recognize members that are leading the future of public health. 

Each year the WSPHA honors individuals, both citizens and health professionals who through their selfless actions have made significant contributions to public health.  These individuals will be honored at our state conference in October through nomination from other public health professionals.  

Honoring our public health heroes gives us an opportunity to celebrate our highest values and accomplishments. These awards are gifts that keep on giving. As we highlight excellence in the field, recipients and the membership renew their efforts to better serve public health.

The Awards Committee needs your assistance in identifying those members and citizens who have provided significant contributions to the public health profession.  Completed nomination packets must be postmarked no later than August 30, 2009. The nomination procedure is simple: 1) identify the nominee and award and complete the nomination form online, 2) submit a short statement of nomination, and 3) at least two letters of support for the nominee.
