&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Student Stipends:&lt;/b&gt; WSPHA is pleased to offer a limited number of Student Stipends on a first come-first serve basis for students enrolled in an academic program at the time of the Joint Conference on Health (JCH). For details about the stipends and student opportunities at the JCH, please see our &lt;a href="/Default.aspx?pageId=628696" target="_blank"&gt;student stipends webpage&lt;/a&gt;. If the scholarship registration option to the left is not showing as "active" (appearing in gray font)&amp;nbsp;in the registration form, it means that the maximum number of spots available for that round have been reached.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div align="justify"&gt;The student registration fee will cover a small portion of the actual conference meal costs. WSPHA's stipend will cover the remainder of conference costs (excluding lodging) and includes a full year student membership with WSPHA.&lt;/div&gt;

&lt;div align="justify"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Mentoring Program:&lt;/b&gt; Are you interested in serving as a mentor to emerging public health leaders in our state?&amp;nbsp; In our planning, WSPHA is considering development of a mentoring program intended to address workforce succession.&amp;nbsp; With a large percentage of the public health workforce reaching retirement age, who will be new leaders and catalysts for good public health policy and practice?&amp;nbsp; Details of the program are under development; please indicate your interest on&amp;nbsp;your registration form&amp;nbsp;and we will reach out to you with additional details as they become available.&lt;/div&gt;

      <title>School Environmental Health and Safety Workshops (2 Nov 2010)</title>
      <description>&lt;title&gt;DOH Fall 2010 SchEH&amp;amp;S Workshops - please help advertise them&lt;/title&gt;&lt;p dir="ltr"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Arial" size="3"&gt;&lt;span lang="en-us"&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;u&gt;Registration is now open 
for the Washington State Department of Health School Environmental Health and 
Safety Fall 2010 Workshops&lt;/u&gt;&lt;/b&gt;, throughout the state.&amp;nbsp; Workshops will be held between Nov. 2 and Dec. 8, 2010.&lt;br&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p dir="ltr"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Arial" size="3"&gt;&lt;span lang="en-us"&gt;Local 
health jurisdictions and school personnel (maintenance and operations staff, 
custodians, nurses, risk managers, teachers, and administrators) are invited to 
a&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span lang="en-us"&gt;&lt;i&gt; free&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span lang="en-us"&gt; workshop designed to 
provide current information on school environmental health and safety issues. 
Topics will include infectious disease control and green cleaning, shop hazards, 
science lab and art studio chemical hazards, and more!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p dir="ltr"&gt;&lt;font color="#000000" face="Arial" size="3"&gt;&lt;u&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span lang="en-us"&gt;DOH Fall 2010 School Environmental Health &amp;amp; Safety
