Improving Public Health Through Training & Development 

Improving Public Health Through Training and Development is one of WSPHA's 2 core program areas, along with Public Health Advocacy.

WSPHA's Training and Development Program Goals/Outcomes are:

Top Level Goals:

o       Statewide, increased effectiveness of population-level public health programs and services due to a stronger public health profession.

o       Sustainable leadership is achieved in public health agencies in Washington State

o       Public health professional preparation is available that will meet the projected workforce demand by 2013
