Donate to help public health and relief work in Haiti now
As professionals in public health, we are concerned about people and communities everywhere. These organizations need immediate resources to help in Haiti. See our Board of Directors's statement on our blog post on Haiti.
We encourage you to visit Partners in Health, at http://www.pih.org to learn more about Haiti and the public health issues facing the population. You may also read Mountains Beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, a Man Who Would Cure the World.

John B., Public Health Nurse and WSPHA Volunteer
As a Public Health Nurse, I woke up today knowing that I had to do something. I have worked with populations here in Washington who face challenges. I cannot imagine the suffering right now in Haiti. I hope that I'm helping public health nurses and docs who are on the ground right now. Even if I can't be there, I can support my colleagues who are.
