2008 Joint Conference
on Health
Poster Presentation
Information
Because of the pipe and draping in the Exhibit
Hall this year posters will be hung outside the Exhibit Hall at the
Yakima Convention Center. We will run them along the walls between
the breakout rooms which makes them quite visible to the attendees.
Please bring your poster to the convention center registration desk between
12 - 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 5th or between 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October
6th. Someone from registration will assist you with locating a space for your poster. You will be
allotted a 60" (wide) X 48" (high) wall space. Please plan to fit your poster, including the title, into this space. Anyone hanging posters larger than the measurements specified above will be asked to remove their poster (no exceptions).
We can accommodate only light weight poster materials. No hanging posters on woodwork or doors. We are
unable to tell you in advance where your poster will be hung so be
prepared with painters tape push pins and velcro. Tripod space will be
very limited. If you feel you cannot hang your poster, you are
welcome to bring a tripod but it will be a first come first serve basis
on space. Tripods need to be located close to the wall and clear
of the walk areas. Tabletop displays are not permitted unless you
rent a table from the convention center ($25 per day).
All posters must be removed from the convention center no later than
3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Any poster remaining
will be removed and disposed of by the convention center staff.
All abstracts and presenters will be printed in the final program distributed at the conference. If you need to make any changes to this information, please contact
Kathy Kondakjian no later than September 10, 2007. We ask that you please have a poster representative available during at least one break at the 3-day conference to answer any questions people may have on your poster.
It is the primary presenter's responsibility to pass this information along to the other presenters listed in the submittal. The primary presenter will be expected to register and represent the poster at the conference unless I am otherwise notified.
We appreciate your participation in the Joint Conference on Health. We look forward to a stimulating and well attended conference. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may
have at 425-337-5717 or e-mail me at Kathy@wspha.org.
