Advocate for Public Health

WSPHA is dedicated to promoting the needs of the public health profession and works to bring a unified message to the Legislature and Congress around critical public health issues. During the legislative session, WSPHA and its partners advocate for policies that align with our mission of improving health for all Washington residents

Participate in WSPHA’s legislative process.

Members of WSPHA can propose Policy Resolutions (please refer to Resolutions Policy and Procedure )via our online submission process throughout the year.

Public Health Roundtable

The Washington State Public Health Association co-convenes the Public Health Roundtable, a coalition of organizations that advocates for a stable, long-term, flexible funding our state’s public health system.  Members of the Public Health Roundtable lend their voices to key budget and policy debates with our state legislators and the Governor, at critical times during the legislative session.
