Flu Research Analyst (Research Analyst 2) – Temporary Position. The Oregon Health Authority, Public Health Division, Acute and Communicable Disease Prevention unit in Portland, OR is recruiting for an experienced, data driven, public health professional with knowledge of infectious disease epidemiology and surveillance to fill the temporary position of Flu Research Analyst. This position assists with the influenza surveillance program by conducting chart reviews of persons hospitalized with pneumonia to evaluate testing practices for influenza and RSV. This positon will also complete investigations of persons hospitalized with influenza and RSV and track suspected cases of respiratory pathogens that meet case definitions for MERS-CoV, enterovirus D-68, and other highly pathogenic strains of influenza.
