National Public Health Week
Celebrated during the first full week of April, National Public Health Week, aims to bring attention to the contributions of public health and highlight issues important to improving health and safety. WSPHA acknowledges local champions that help make Washington a great place to live. These are individuals, organizations, and coalitions that demonstrate excellence in their efforts to improve and protect the public’s health in our state. View Governor Jay Inslee’s Proclamation to recognize Public Health Week and the public health professionals who make Washington one of the healthiest state in our nation.
This year’s theme is “Centering and Celebrating Cultures in Health”. Get involved today to help create the healthiest nation in one generation. See you for NPHW 2023, April 3-9!
