Abstract Submission for the Annual Conference

ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION NOW CLOSED

Preparations are currently in progress for the 2024 Annual Conference and we are excited to announce our return to the stunning Yakima Valley on October 9th-11th, 2024!

Did you know that this is WSPHA's 90th year anniversary?! This year we will celebrate the roots of public health in social movements and collectively consider the past to pave the way for the future.

 Our theme is, "Cultivating Social Justice: Past, Present, & Future"

We are eagerly anticipating our gathering and plan to have an engaging lineup of plenaries and workshops, but your participation is essential. Our team is currently reviewing all abstracts submitted. If your abstract is selected you will be notified by the Early Bird deadline July 28th.

Please note:

• Deadline for Abstract submission has been extended to June 12, 2024.
• All abstracts will be peer reviewed and accepted on the strength of these four criteria: clarity and quality, description of the project/program, relevance to conference theme and demonstration of new/emerging concepts.  
• Please limit your abstract to 2000 characters or less, including spaces.
• We are dedicated to announcing abstract selection by the Early Bird deadline, July 28, 2024. If we are unable to meet this goal, we will honor the early bird registration rate for all selected abstracts. 
• For abstracts that were selected for presentation, each presenter is required to register and pay for conference fees and WSPHA individual membership by the beginning of the conference.
